Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS) offers bronze, silver and gold accreditations to acknowledge continuous improvement and recognition. We’re incredibly proud of our team and what they’ve achieved this year.
What Does a Bronze FORS Accreditation Mean?
The FORS Bronze Accreditation shows that Cross Country Carriers employs good practice and complies with the FORS Standard requirements.
Effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage is applied to every one of our 50 vehicles, from HGVs to PCVs, P2Ws to vans, in order to continuously improve our operating practices. The Bronze Accreditation also showcases our dedication to driver and vehicle safety which we take seriously in all aspects of our services.
What Does a Silver FORS Accreditation Mean?
As we have maintained our Bronze Accreditation, we are also able to secure our Silver Accreditation for another year.
Meeting more stringent criteria is required, including fuel efficiency measures, promoting driver health and wellbeing, and minimising transport-related fines and charges. Not only does this mean that Cross Country Carriers are continuing to be safer on the roads and looking after our team of drivers, but we are also effectively reducing our environmental impact.
Over our 45 years in operation, we constantly strive to deliver a high quality, professional service to all our customers and our FORS Accreditations shows our commitment to this.
Our Pallet Network awards also cement our excellent service within our pallet network. We have been part of Palletways since 2008 and benefit from the shared expertise and resources from within the group which we pass on to our customers.
